Mind to Muscle: Yoga Flow
In this 60 minute class students will be led through a vinyasa/yin mixed flow. Vinyasa flow is matching breath with movement, generally one breath per movement, and Yin is longer held within relaxing and restorative postures with focused breath. What to expect with a Vin/yin class: Mind to muscle meditation followed by warming the body through a vinyasa styled flow. Focusing on alignment matching breath to movement, with repetitive posture and flow. Then once more restorative postures are established the focus will shift to longer holds within the posture, deeper breathwork, connecting the mind to breath and muscle sensation to find more space and relaxation.
This class is accessible to all levels- beginners welcome. Modifications of movement will always be offered.
